The Collingwood General and Marine Hospital Foundation (CGMHF), is dedicated to inspiring our community to invest in the facilities, equipment, programs and services that help our medical teams deliver outstanding care.
What you might not know is that the Government does not fully fund healthcare in Ontario. This is particularly evident at the Collingwood General & Marine Hospital where over 90% of all medical equipment & technology is funded through community support of our Foundation.
This year, we are fundraising for a new CT Scanner at CGMH. Every year, over 10,000 patients come through the Collingwood G&M Hospital with a requisition for a CT scan. Our current CT scanner is 10 years old and in constant need of repairs, resulting in downtime. The hospital is regularly having to rebook patients, thus delaying diagnoses and treatments.
You can help CGMH replace the hospital's current CT scanner and bring the best possible Diagnostic Imaging technology to South Georgian Bay.
We believe that together we can make a difference in the quality of care close to home. Please donate today.
